Hi there! ;w; This used to be exclusively my personal blog (which is why I'm not even going to bother going through my old stuff and deleting things--that would take way too much time), but now I'm using it primarily for posting everything that I write, especially if it doesn't 'belong' on fanfiction.net. I'll be sure to clearly mark/tag everything I post from now on so no one gets confused!
I have always been fascinated by these ‘world of 100 people’ things, I remember spending hours thinking through the ones on a poster at church when I was 9 or so. It really, really makes some really important stuff so blindingly clear, in numbers we can understand. And it should, I hope it does, inspire us to act.
Now, can we add a Sexuality part to it? Like a “straight vs. not straight”? I’ve met a lot of people who are under the impression that gay people are a rarity…

Darian kept running for as long as his stamina would allow, pausing only to catch his breath and take a few swallows of water from his canteen before setting off again. He had no idea where he was going or how far he had travelled; he had no concept of time or no immediate goal, except to put as much distance between him and the soldiers as he possibly could. Even when the morning sunlight peeked through the forest canopy to the floor below, still he continued onward, stumbling over fallen tree branches and boulders.
Setting down his pen with a deep sigh, Darian leaned back in his chair and stretched out his arms. The wood creaked beneath his weight as he worked all the tension out of his stiff joints for the first time in hours; since when did it get so late? The young man glanced out the open window as a light, crisp breeze whispered into the room, the moonlight casting its blue gaze through the curtains. His father’s study was otherwise quite dark, the only other light being the small candle on the desk at which Darian had been working. He could hear his mother and sister shuffling about in the living room, and he assumed they had begun shutting the windows for the night. With another small sigh, he arose from his chair and approached his own window, peering out for only a moment before sliding it shut. He was almost disappointed at the sudden absence of the draft from outside; to Darian, the world outside the small village he lived in was intriguing and calming for him, and the urge to explore the surrounding forests was sometimes unbearable. But he never dared give into these urges, nor mention them to anyone he knew; the recent military presence was extremely intimidating, and if anyone did anything remotely suspicious they would find themselves being whisked away by three men in armor, never to return or be heard from again. Darian’s mother was especially afraid of this happening; after his father disappeared one year ago, she started doing everything in her power to keep her and her children off the military’s radar.
So I’ve been thinking about this for a while…and I think I’m gonna start using this blog for my writing things. I wanna be more active with that stuff in general, and my fanfiction account alone isn’t really getting me enough publicity :\ I’ll still put personal stuff on here, but not as much cause I’ll be trying to update my writing every other day with drabbles/chapter updates/links to my fanfictions. I’ll also be reblogging things less, and the stuff that I will reblog will be more related to stuff I’m writing about or things that give me inspiration. I can also accept requests for writings, and I’ll be asking everyone to give me some feedback on the stuff I upload, particularly if you think I need to change/improve on anything. I’ll be sure to clearly tag/label everything (fanfiction, drabble, prompts, or free-writing), and I’m going to put more emphasis on critique on all my free-writing, cause I want those to get published eventually. So please bear with me while I make all these changes and as I try to get this whole writing thing off the ground.
